Are you tired of living with all that clutter on your desk? Hunting through piles of loose papers to find what you’re looking for, untangling piles of wires just to find the right one, struggling to remember what it is that you forgot you were supposed to do today… A cluttered desk can clutter your mind. Using these simple office supplies, you can get your desk organized in a snap, and unclog all that mess from your brain, too.
3 Ring Vinyl Binders – If you have 3 ring vinyl binders left over from school projects, you can re-purpose them into planners and calendars! Having a simple spot to keep all your events and affairs together will help you get your timeline organized, so you’ll be less likely to forget any upcoming meetings or impending birthdays. Use your laser printer labels to section off a page evenly to make a monthly calendar! (A spiral bound graph paper notebook are good for this, too.)
Bubble Mailers – If your bills and letters are all over the place, a bubble mailer makes a great storage pocket. You can sort them in a drawer or tack them to the wall for specific drop spots, like next to where you may usually just drop the mail into a pile. Fun fact: you can also use bubble mailers to make your own tablet case. The bubble wrap inside acts as protection against falls, and cushions the tablet from normal wear.
Small Binder Rings – Errant cables got you down? Use small binder rings or binder clips to section off specific cords or bundles of cords. This will keep your desk looking orderly without the bed of snakes forming under your feet. If you’re really in trouble and can’t figure out what cable is which, you can bring back those laser printer labels and help yourself identify the cables by labeling them!
