In this YouTube video, Rocket – Powerful Advertising, discusses the inner workings of an advertising agency. An advertising agency does many things.
Advertising agencies help business owners with brand management and strategy.
These concepts revolve around a product release date and the intended goal of what the owner would like the customer to obtain. A brand strategy for a business looking to increase their leads through email marketing will have a different approach than a company releasing a physical product, like a new tablet.
The brand strategy should be defined to include logos, product naming, and the target group of customers the owners are trying to reach. After this is done, the employees at the advertising agency work with consultants, copywriters, visual artists, and other specialists to create a company brand across all channels desired. Channels can include advertising via billboards along freeways, a social media presence, websites, blogs, TV commercials, and more.
The brand presence is then marketed with the help of the media consultants, maintained over several months, and altered based on the desired results. After a previously defined period, the results are measured based on forecasting against the results from the customers. These metrics decide how closely the advertising agency meets its goal.
